Fourth HYSPLIT Training Workshop – May 3-5

April 28, 2005

HYSPLIT is among the most widely used atmospheric dispersion models, having been adopted by the National Weather Service and by the meteorological services of several other countries as their operational dispersion code. Training classes are offered regularly. These classes are quite popular, but attendance is intentionally kept small. On May 3-5, the fourth training workshop will be help in the ARL facility at Silver Spring.

The coming class will be made up of HYSPLIT users from several NOAA offices, private companies, a number of universities, and several state agencies. Past workshops have involved a similar mix of attendees.

The class is offered by Roland Draxler and his colleagues at ARL Silver Spring, MD.
