CCSP Temperature Trend Report Posted Online
March 2006
The U.S. Climate Change Science Program’s (CCSP) strategic plan calls for a series of over twenty syntheses and assessment reports. The first such report (1.1) deals with “Temperature Trends in the Lower Atmosphere: Steps for Understanding and Reconciling Differences” and has been in preparation for about two years. A near-final version, having been through both National Research Council and public review and revision, and awaiting only approval by the executive agencies, has just been posted on the CCSP website http://www.climatescience.gov/. ARL scientists Dian Seidel and Jim Angell served as lead author and reviewer, respectively.
