NOAA Lapenta Interns Complete Summer Experience.

Leah Hopson gave a presentation at the William M. Lapenta Internship Presentation Workshop on 6 August 2020. The title of her talk was “Using a Tracer of Opportunity Dataset to Evaluate the HYSPLIT Model”. Leah is a rising senior at University of Maryland, College Park, and over the past ten weeks, Leah has worked with Fantine Ngan at ARL.

Eric Roy’s presentation, “HYSPLIT for volcanic ash transport”, a comparison of meteorological deterministic and ensemble inputs for small to moderate size eruptions, was well received at the William M. Lapenta Internship Presentation Workshop on 6 August 2020. Eric is a junior at University of Massachusetts Lowell and worked with Dr. Alice Crawford and Barbara Stunder over the course of ten weeks this summer through the William M. Lapenta Internship program.
