ARL Acting Director Dr. Ariel Stein traveled to Boulder, Colorado, August 21-22 to meet with colleagues at NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory as part of continued collaborations stemming from the joint lab summit earlier this year.

“Distinct Turbulence Structures in Stably Stratified Boundary Layers with Weak and Strong Surface Shear,” with Dennis Finn as a co-author, was published in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres. The article was featured on the cover of the journal’s August issue.
