Joint Action Group on Dispersion Research
February 3, 2004
The Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology is leading a multi-agency endeavor to construct a plan for research related to atmospheric dispersion. This follows the highly-successful review of dispersion modeling conducted last year by the OFCM. Several ARL scientists are members of the new Joint Action Group panel – Ray Hosker from Oak Ridge; John Irwin from Research Triangle Park, Walt Schalk from Las Vegas, and Bruce Hicks from Silver Spring.
