The days are long and blur into one, we don’t know what day it is anymore……oh wait we do! It’s a hard down day, the team will not fly but take the time to ensure the data processing is efficient so we can provide rapid quick looks and preliminary analysis of recent flights. This helps flight planning to ensure the best use of aircraft flight hours to generate the highest quality dataset we can. Justice Saxby, the NOAA William M. Lapenta Scholar interning with us, arrived this evening and will spend the next two weeks with the field team. She will be rotating through Twin Otter missions and working with NOAA’s ARC mobile team.
