CCSP Temperature Trend Report Posted Online

March 2006

The U.S. Climate Change Science Program’s (CCSP) strategic plan calls for a series of over twenty synthethis and assessment reports. The first such report (1.1) deals with “Temperature Trends in the Lower Atmosphere: Steps for Understanding and Reconciling Differences” and has been in preparation for about two years. A near-final version, having been through both National Research Council and public review and revision, and awaiting only approval by the executive agencies, has just been posted on the CCSP website¬† ARL scientists Dian Seidel and Jim Angell served as lead author and reviewer, respectively.
