Praveena Krishnan, Nebila Lichiheb Profiled for Women’s History Month
NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research profiled two scientists at Air Resources Laboratory’s Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division in Oak Ridge, Tennessee were profiled by for Women’s History Month.
Praveena Krishnan is an atmospheric scientist. She describes her background and setbacks in the interview. One of her research projects is to studying carbon emissions at Northern latitudes to advance our understanding of the biosphere-atmosphere coupling processes by integrating model predictions with data. This effort will help refine models to more accurately predict changes in the artic.
Nebila Lichiheb is an environmental scientist. Her research interests include measurement and modeling of surface-atmosphere exchange of atmospheric gases and particles in agricultural, forest, coastal and urban ecosystems.
