| Daily HYSPLIT trajectories can be calculated from a starting date to an ending date within a given month with Trajectory / Special Simulations / Run Daily. Inputs other than date and time are as given in the current CONTROL file. Run Daily can be repeated to obtain trajectories for a season or longer periods. The trajectories can be analyzed through the Trajectory Cluster Analysis menu (described in next section). |

| As an example, from 40N, 80W, 500 m agl, run 48-hour backward trajectories daily from 12 UTC in January 1996 using the NGM archive data. First do the January 1 trajectory manually and confirm it ran (image to right). For the automated trajectories, the year, month, and date must be explicitly set. If trajectory cluster analysis will be done, it is recommended that you make an output directory, and specify the output path/file such as c:/hysplit4/working/endpts/jan96/tdump. For a complete set of trajectories, NGM archive files ngm.dec95.002, ngm.jan96.001, and ngm.jan96.002 must be specified. |  |
