Where can I find gridded meteorological data to simulate the Chernobyl accident?You can get a HYSPLIT compatible file that uses the 2.5 degree NCAR-NCEP reanalysis from our web site: ftp://www.arl.noaa.gov/pub/archives/reanalysis/ Or you can purchase the special higher resolution Chernobyl data set from ECMWF.
