Is it possible to interpolate between two lines of equal concentration or
between a maximum and a line?
Interpolation depends upon the gradient relative to the size of the
concentration grid. If it is strong and there are only a few cells
between contours then there won't be much spatial error in the
interpolation. If the gradients are weak and there are many cells between
contours the spatial error can be large.
