ARL NewsCMAQ Selected As The National Air Quality Assessment ToolMay 4, 2004The Community Multi-Scale Air Quality model (CMAQ) developed by staff of the Air Resources Laboratory has been identified by the Environmental Protection Agency as the model "of choice" for regulatory purposes. The CMAQ also serves as the basis for the operational air quality forecasting capability presently in final stages of development by NOAA and EPA.
