International conference on small research aircraft being planned

The First International Workshop of the Network of Airborne
Environmental Research Scientists is planned to take place in Idaho Falls,
Idaho, on 28/29 January 2002. The conference will focus on recent advances
in the use of light aircraft as research platforms, with particular
emphasis on technological advances and safety issues. The preliminary
attendance list shows a strong international involvement. It is pointed
out that the conference must be exceedingly timely to attract so many
people to Idaho Falls in the dead of winter.
